"Xiuying, Lantern Maker" was a class for a little over a year and is now ready for the general public. She's 14" tall, with a simple wire armature for posing, which also allows her to stand on her own. She uses craft foam to create her clothing and has fun and very simple beaded flowers and silk ribbon roses as embellishments. Her lantern is created with silk cocoons which are also embellished with beads and sequins.
